Description
In the heart of Indonesia, among active volcanoes and lush forests, comes one of the most captivating and authentic coffees of the archipelago: Bajawa Forest Coffee. Produced by JYN Group Indonesia with the support of many local farming families, this coffee reflects a perfect balance between untouched nature, community tradition, and sustainable agriculture.
Grown between 1,200 and 1,400 masl on rich volcanic soils near the Inerije, Wolobobo, and Ebulobo volcanoes, the dominant varieties here are Line S – S795. Often semi-wild, coffee plants thrive on tanah adat (ancestral lands) or within state forests, cultivated only under conditions that respect the surrounding ecosystems.
This washed lot offers enveloping sweetness and a clean, elegant profile with notes of lychee, white flowers, jasmine, chocolate, and plum. A complex, silky, and balanced cup, ideal for those who appreciate delicate and aromatic filter extractions.
This lot has scored 83,50 points according to the SCA cupping protocol.
